Belfast-born Sean Pol McGreevy has been performing from an early age, developing a strong musical and theatrical foundation that led him to train at Trinity College Dublin. He works extensively as an actor, composer, musical director, and singer-pianist, with a career spanning theatre, live music, and music education across the UK and Ireland.
He has enjoyed a wide-ranging and successful career across multiple disciplines. As an actor, he originated the leading role of Mark in the Irish premiere of RENT, performing alongside members of the original London cast, and has since received significant critical acclaim for roles including Prez in The Pajama Game at the Union Theatre, Frank in Mack and Mabel at the Broadway Theatre, and Johnny Brown in The Unsinkable Molly Brown at the Landor Theatre in London.
As a singer and musician, he is known for his powerful, dynamic performances, with career highlights including performing at Glastonbury Festival. He is also an accomplished composer, having written the successful musical Ovid’s Transformations, which toured Ireland to strong audiences and critical response.
